Reshma & Mike planned their wedding all the way from New York City. The many Toronto visits paid off as the day was nothing short of perfect!
In a modern cultural fusion, the wedding incorporated both Hindu and Jewish traditions. They married under a Chuppah (canopy) that also served as a Mandap and performed Hindu traditions of Rajaham (Sacrifice to the Sacred Fire), Mangalphera (Walk Around the Fire) and Saptapardi (Seven Steps Together). In Jewish tradition, they both exchanged rings, Mike stomped on the glass and they both signed the Ketubah (Marriage Contract). Venue: The Radisson Hotel in Missisauga.
The Hora (Chair Dance) started off the party and it didn’t stop all night!
What an incredible celebration of two beautiful souls.
